• LIVE, LAUGH & ALWAYS PHOTOGRAPH.

Drusy and Jenny couldn’t have picked a better waterfront wedding venue like the Boston Exchange Conference Center.  It was the picture-perfect location for their wedding.  Jenny and Drusy met online and started dating shortly after setting up their online profil .  They knew they were meant for each other just as you can tell how much they love each other from their photos!

Drusy and Jenny had an enjoyable timeline.  They both helped each other get dressed.  We took their portraits first because we didn’t want to lose the light we had at the end of October.  Both of their families arrived a little while before the guests arrived so we could photograph everyone.  They were so nice and every guest was so happy for Drusy and Jenny!  You could just tell from the vibe of the wedding.  Guests arrived and enjoyed a few drinks and appetizers from Island Creek Oysters before the ceremony.  Drusy and Jenny had their closest friends as their attendants standing next to them as they exchanged their vows.  Then the party vamped (or ramped?) up!  Almost all of the guests were on the dance floor.

I’m so happy for you both!!!  You were amazing to work with and I’m so jealous of your Bora Bora honeymoon!  Enjoy married life and some of my favorites from your wedding!

Vivienne’s sixth month was a fun month for us!  She is a lot more active (which she has been from the start), playing with her toys, giving kisses to me (not to daddy yet but she is getting there) and eating more solids.  One weekend in the beginning of the month, I said to Sean,” I hope she sits up by Christmas.”  I sat her on the floor with the boppy around her for  support  and she was all over the place.  I was discouraged.  The next day, she was good!  Sitting up  on her own with the support of the boppy.  I was blown away!  She surprises me every day.

I want us to remember all the things that have happened over the past four weeks.  Vivienne, here are a few memories from month sixth:

  • Still teething!  None of them have come through yet.  I hope they take their time, the longer the better.  Drooly pooly!
  • You’re eating more solids!  Oatmeal, mangoes and bananas were a huge hit.  Avocado not so much but you’ll get there one day.
  • Nose scrunching just like  mommy (so daddy says).  It’s the cutest thing ever and mommy never realized she does that too.
  • You are still rolling over crazy  and turning in circles to play with your toys.  You started to move forward a tiny bit, pushing off.  Baby gates are going up!
  • You LOVE your footsies!!!
  • Started crossing your feet when you are in your seat
  • You started sitting up all of a sudden.  It was night and day difference from the day before.  You don’t need the boppy as much but we have it there just in case.  You catch yourself when you fall forward,  getting your arms out for support.  Still, how do you know what to do???  It’s so cool!
  • Giving kisses to mommy right now, daddy will get them soon
  • You twist your wrists when you get REALLY EXCITED!  It’s the funniest thing we’ve ever seen.
  • According to the doctor you are growing and developing right on track
  • You celebrated your first Christmas!!!

Here are a few of Vivienne’s favorite things:

  • Loves sitting up
  • Love playing peek a boo.  Also likes when we boo or baby
  • Loves the camera

Over the next month we will be introducing more solids to see what you like and don’t like.  I hope you start to crawl, you’re building up to it.  I hope you continue to grow and learn and I can’t wait to see what your future holds!  Bring on 2018!!!  Love you Vivi!

Robyn and Kurtis got married this past fall at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel up in Bretton Woods, NH.  They met each other at school while attending the same class together.  All their closest friends and families made the trek up to New Hampshire to share their day.

One of the best parts of the day was the bridal portraits with Robyn and Kurtis.  Thank you to the hotel for getting us  our own golf carts and the ability to drive  around the property to get the best portraits.  You can’t go wrong with the scenery on this property.  Mountains in every direction you turn.  And, timing worked out perfectly!  The sun was setting and while driving  back toward the hotel, we made a stop at the first hole on the golf course.  I was chasing the sun and saw great light.  It turned out to be AMAZING LIGHT!!!  SO GLAD we made that stop!  We could not stop laughing andloved the fact that we could drive around to capture these portraits!  It was so much fun!

I’m so happy for you both!!!  Enjoy married life!

Vivienne, your fifth month was a busy four weeks!  We took another road trip, daddy went on another business trip, she met Santa, and Vivienne had her first Thanksgiving just to name a few.

I want us to remember all the things that have happened over the past four weeks.  Vivienne, here are a few memories from month five:

  • You have been sleeping consistently through the night with the exception of a few here and there.  You’re a big girl already and it makes Mommy sad.
  • You’re developing and holding your head up more.  I will always say that you are growing up too fast!  You are, but this stage is so fun to see you learn!
  • You full on laughed for the first time, we have that on video.  It’s the best sound in the world.
  • You’re rolling over like crazy now!  You even posed with both of your hands holding up your head one morning for Mommy and Daddy, so cute.
  • You love your feet, I mean footsies!!!  Yes you even eat your toes.
  • You started eating rice cereal like a BIG girl.  You’ve been so curious watching us eat, now you know what to do.  You open up your mouth and eat so well.  We had no issues introducing this to you.  Smart girl!
  • You started sleeping in your crib like a BIG girl the same weekend you started eating rice cereal.
  • We swear you say “Hi” to us.  We’re convinced that is going be your first word.
  • Playing with your toys while doing tummy time, reaching for things on the mat with you and turning in circles.  This is the start, you will be moving all over the place soon with Mommy and Daddy will be chasing you around.  You’re getting your knees underneath your butt.  How do you know what to do next?  It’s crazy that you’re doing all of this on your own.
  • Teething – still happening and drooling a lot more, which we call drooly pooly.
  • You had your second road trip when we drove to Buffalo (yes we drove and you were a rockstar!
  • You met Santa and smiled for the camera.
  • Your first Thanksgiving!!!  You joined Mommy and Daddy on your first Turkey Trot!  You wore your cute Turkey hat, and Daddy has been calling you a little turkey recently.

Here are a few of Vivienne’s favorite things:

  • Loves snuggling
  • Loves your rice cereal and eating
  • Love to see yourself in the mirror

Vivienne, I had no idea what life would be like with you and I can’t remember what it was like before you arrived.  I love our snuggles and our time together.  You are my new best friend and I love you!

Jackie and Christian were surrounded by their closest friends and family at Plymouth Memorial Hall.  Jackie grew up in Plymouth and dreamed about getting married at the Brewster Gardens. So, we decided to have their first look at the Brewster Gardens.  She shared this story with me while we made the long walk to the garden.  It meant a lot to her and me that we could make a part of her dream come true!  Christian’s reaction when he saw Jackie for the first time was so sweet!

I was extremely lucky to photograph Jackie and Christian’s wedding.   Jackie was a bridesmaid in two other weddings I had photographed.  They knew they wanted to get a majority of the photos done ahead of time so they could enjoy their festivities.  Lucky photographer I am!  Jackie knew how I worked and already trusted me which is something I can’t thank you guys enough for.  It was an HONOR to be a part of your day!

As I end this blog post, their favors sum it up well.  “It’s not classy but it’s true.  They met playing Beer Pong.  Jackie won & Christian was done, so take a ball and next time you play may our love help bring you luck too!”  Jackie and Christian, I’m so happy for you both!!!  Enjoy married life!
