• LIVE, LAUGH & ALWAYS PHOTOGRAPH.

Are you an entrepreneur?  Then you don’t want to miss this blog post!  I met Ali Haseotes at Cumberland Farms a few years ago.  We were working on a project together and quickly learned how similar we are.  We even have the same birthday!  How CRAZY is that?  Over a year ago, Ali made the decision to become an entrepreneur and started her own personal blog.  She reached out to me and asked if we could photograph her with all the things she loves!!

We shopped at the Boston Public Market before we started photographing.  Ali wanted to showcase her brand with her favorite foods and items.  Ali rented a room from Breather.  A nice little room that was located right in the heart of downtown Boston.  Ali’s sisters, Ana and Gabrielle joined in on the fun.  We all set up and started photographing items and food that are Ali’s FAVORITES!  I can’t tell you how hard I laughed with the three Haseotes sisters!  They are so lucky to have each other and the support of one another.  I mean they all are gorgeous and even look alike too!

Ali, congrats on the new site, it’s gorgeous!  I can’t wait for our next photographing adventure together!  Check out Ali’s site According to Alexandra here.  If you are a donut lover you want to follow her on instragram here!

If you are a business owner and looking to update your headshots, send me an email.  I would LOVE to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera and showcase your most recent work!  It’s important as an entrepreneur to step in front of the camera once in a while so followers know who the person running the business is.  Enjoy my favorites!

I feel like I’m repeating myself but I’m going to say it anyways; Vivienne’s seventh month was another milestone.  I’m sure I will be saying that A LOT in the future.  BUT this month Vivienne got her first tooth!!!  It happened within a few days after her turning six months old.  Within two weeks from her first tooth, she got her second tooth.  Yes, not one but two teeth!!  Like I said, a milestone!  Within a two week span she got both of her bottom teeth, Happy New Years to us!

This past month we celebrated Christmas.  Santa delivered some awesome gifts for her.  One being a walker, which you weren’t too sure of the first time you used it but by the next day you were on the move.  The other gift was your jumper.  Once you got the hang of it, you haven’t stopped jumping.  You even jump when you are in your walker.  You’re a silly girl.  The other big gift you got was a WAGON!!!  It’s all ready for walks together especially down at the beach!  YAY!!!!

I want us to remember all the things that have happened over the past four weeks.  Vivienne, here are a few memories from month seven:

  • Still teething! Two teeth came in and we are waiting for more.  I think it’s why you get up in the middle of the night.
  • You’re eating more solids! Up to two meals a day and working on three at the moment.
  • You enjoy eating rice rusks and puffs
  • You LOVE to eat!! When we are eating you look at us like what the heck, what about me?  We are making your food for you, hope you’re liking it!
  • Sitting up on your own, still need boppy around you at times but you’ll sit and play for a while
  • We had your 6 month hip checkup and everything looks good!
  • Love your jumper – funny to watch you and see your hair flying lol
  • You get so excited when you see Mommy or Daddy. Your wrists are twisting and your reaction melts my heart!  You will give us hugs.  Mommy is still getting the kisses.
  • You have gotten up on all fours. You are moving around in circles and you are moving backwards.  Any day now you will be crawling.  My guess, I’ll be writing about this in your next month’s blog post update.
  • You are more vocal. Getting louder and louder
  • Pretty sure you know to smile when I take out my camera, ops!
  • We are baby proofing the house. You get excited when you find something new to get into that you shouldn’t be.

Here are a few of Vivienne’s favorite things:

  • Your Minnie mouse toy
  • Eating your rice rusks and apple puff snacks
  • You love to eat!!!!!

Vivienne, you are growing up WAY TOO FAST!!!  I enjoy our snuggles and I know one day you won’t want them.  I can’t imagine what life would be like without you!  Love you!

It’s always fun to look back at the behind the scenes photos from the year.  This past year I was pregnant!  I photographed up until I was 37+ weeks pregnant.  The last month of my pregnancy I photographed  two engagement sessions, a family portrait session, a corporate event and the Buzz off Event at Gillette Stadium.  I ended my photographing pre baby with a bang!  I did not realize it at that time, but I was having contractions at the Buzz off Event. Thankfully I had asked Emily to tag along for the day as backup just in case.  I listened to my body and asked her to take over while I sat down and rested for a bit.  Good thing!

I wanted to say thank you to Emily Leis, Lorna Stell and Jessica Occhipinti for your help this past year!!!  Thank you to all of my clients for a fantastic year!  Enjoy some action shots!

I do miss my pregnant belly!

Caught you Jess!

A couple of Jess in action while I was second shooter with her.

Emily helping out at the Buzz Off Event!

The biggest group I had to corral.

Always lending a hand to the whole wedding party.

Trying to get out of the way.

Can’t believe I’m sharing this photo, but yes I do mean business when it comes to family portraits!  NEXT!

Yes sometimes I’m funny, pretty sure I was saying ‘be careful, don’t fall into the water.’

Thanks for letting me test out my lighting Emily.

Jess was a guest at her dear friends wedding that I photographed!

The only couple I photographed with this season.  I need to make this a mandatory photo at each wedding I photograph!

I can’t help but relive Vivienne’s First Christmas and our first Christmas as a family of three!  Sean and I were so excited to celebrate with Vivienne.  We talked about what traditions we want to start doing each year with her and had not decided what yet.  We will figure them out as we go!  One tradition we did was to make sure we purchased The Night Before Christmas to read to her on Christmas Eve.  I had searched high and low for these reindeer PJ’s that I got from Target because they were SO CUTE!!!!!  They initially didn’t have her size but it must have been meant to be as I ended up finding her size.  We know she won’t remember this Christmas but we will!

I think I was up before she was up.  I had zero expectations with the day and I was going to go with the flow.  Vivienne was a super happy baby Christmas morning as you can see from the photos.  To my surprise, she loved banging on the gifts.  She sort of ripped the paper but not really.  It was a reaction I was not expecting.

Santa gave her a wagon!!  Cant’ wait to stroll around this summer at the beach in her Radio Flyer!  She also got a walker and jumper which she LOVES.  It’s so fun to see her develop and learn/know what to do.

By the way, I forgot to mention that we HOSTED Christmas for the VERY FIRST TIME, with a baby.  What was I thinking?  I was so excited to host a big holiday.  Enjoy a few of my favorites!  Forgot to get a photo of us all dressed up but it was a fun busy day.  At least we got one in our Pj’s.
