HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEAN!!!!

Ok just to get it out there, I’m late on this post.  What else is new lol.  My husband Sean’s birthday was on February 13th.  It’s the 23rd now and I’m starting to write this post.

What can I say Sean, we have had an incredible year together.  Not that the other ones were bad, but it has been so much fun.  Just relaxing on the couch, watching Impractical Jokers and laughing till we cry, to your high pitch laugh that makes me laugh and smile, and when we randomly start dancing when our wedding song comes on.  You deal with my grumpiness (I know, not easy) and my busy schedule.  You have always supported me with everything and I can’t thank you enough.  Cheers to 35!  I hope it’s an amazing year.  I look forward to many laughs and smiles together, love you babe!

Unfortunately another snow storm had to push back our ski vacation.  Luckily our jobs were understanding and we were only delayed a day.  We adjusted our vacation and then we were jet-setters on our way to Park City, Utah for our ski adventure!   My husband has friends who live in that area whom we were fortunate to stay with.  A HUGE thank you to our friends Kary & Eric for being more than gracious hosts, and hello to their girls. Thank you to Enterprise as well,  for the sweet free upgrade from a sedan to a huge SUV Suburban.

During our ski adventure, we skied 4 days in a row starting at PCMR (Park City Mountain Resort) and then had 2 beautiful days in a row at Deer Valley (my favorite).  We saved the best for last, skiing at a harder mountain which was on my bucket list: Snowbird.  Check that bucket list item off!  Each resort was different and unique.  I was able to ski in a way I never knew I could.  I can now say I’m an official skier!

On January 24, 2015 we had the privilege of Mother Nature gracing us with snow for Sam and James’ Red Lion Inn wedding!  Good thing that Sam had wished for snow on her wedding day!  Sam and James have been talking about this day for months; all the preparation paid off and everything came together as it was meant to be.  They had an amazing, and I might add FUN, wedding surrounded by all their loved ones.  I went to high school with Sam, and when I met James I knew they were meant for each other.  We laughed and had so much fun during their engagement shoot as well and the wedding was just the best!  Some of my favorite highlights are the awesome fur coats and shawls Sam had. When you get married in the winter they are a must! They’re also so fun to incorporate into photographs. I also loved all the great converse shoes worn by the ladies! Congrats to the two of you and I hope you had an amazing honeymoon in St. Lucia!

​Today is the day!  Jen Araya Photography officially has a brand new website, fully updated and complete!  Wednesday January 21, 2015 will be the Online Launch Party.  I will be posting on my Facebook page, Jen Araya Photography www.facebook.com/jenarayaphotography throughout the days leading up to this event; we will have giveaways and more sneak peaks of the website.  
 
You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this day to come, honestly it’s been two years in the making!  I will also have a new blog that can be followed at www.jenarayablog.com and plan to blog twice a week.  This is a new challenge for me, so please bear with me!  I plan to talk about photo sessions, life experiences, vacations, goals and much more.
